For those who suffer from excess sweating, two of the most popular options currently on the market are to use a strong anti-perspirant or to have Botox injected into the underarm area. Unfortunately, both of these options are just temporary measures. Another measure sees the nerves to the chest that lead to the sweat glands cut under general anaesthetic.
However, a British surgeon has developed a new cosmetic procedure which could help stop underarm sweating forever and will only require a local anaesthetic and leave minimal scarring.
