Romanian teen tennis star Simona Halep has had breast reduction surgery in a bid to improve her game.
The 18 year old, who was junior tennis champion at the French Open in 2008, has had breast reduction surgery to decrease the size of her breasts from a 34DD to a 34C. Halep explained that the weight on her chest thanks to her generous breasts was causing her severe back pain and affected her on-court performance.

Kylie Minogue has said that she has never had cosmetic surgery – and never will. She is also following in her sister’s footsteps and giving up on Botox and facial fillers.
“I’ve been honest about the fact that I did use Botox,” she told newspaper the News of the World. “But I don’t any more, I won’t go near it. I have lines. You can see the lines on my face. I wouldn’t want to go under the knife. You’re not yourself if you do that.”

Obesity in today’s youth can’t solely be attributed to overeating and lack of exercise. It is important we understand that excessive weight gain can be influenced by heredity and familial behavior. Even Psych 101 tells us overeating can be a behavioral problem.
In a reputable piece published by Medical News Today, doctors from the University of Adelaide linked obesity directly with depression. Specifically, Dr. Evan Atlantis goes on to state “Although the topic is largely unexplored, several psychosocial, lifestyle and physiological factors may be involved in the complex inter-relationship between obesity and mental illness…”

Botox is one of the most popular beauty treatments around, and is also used to treat a number of other ailments too. However could Botox actually be giving you wrinkles?

The recent turbulence in the global economy has not gone unnoticed in the US cosmetic surgery industry. Recent figures show that although $10 billion was spent on plastic surgery in 2009, this figure was down 3 per cent on the previous year.
Breast enlargement, nose jobs, eyelid surgery, liposuction and tummy tucks were all down. Liposuction showed the biggest decline according the latest figures released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).

Nearly fifty thousand women in the UK have been warned that they could be in danger of their breast implants rupturing.
Anyone with silicone implants made by the French firm Poly Implant Prothese – PIP for short – are encouraged to contact their cosmetic surgeons to discuss having their implants removed or replaced. It is believed that the PIP breast implants are twice as likely to rupture as other implants.
